About the Area

Port Douglas is located just an hour north of Cairns and is the only place on earth where two World Heritage listed attractions exist, with the spectacular Great Barrier Reef on one side and the beautiful Daintree Rainforest on the other, giving you access to the best of both worlds.

Port Douglas is known for its laid-back atmosphere yet still offers an air of sophistication with many beautiful resorts and award winning restaurants found here. The oldest rainforest on earth the Daintree is home to millions of plant and tropical animal species making for spectacular viewing, and with a treetop walk the best vantage point is offered.
